Week 7 Session 1
My idea for the transformation demonstrated in the digital environment is the change in my living environment as I moved to a new country to study. However, the game is not really about the actual difference between the two countries, but the change in the mental world during the journey. My feelings and my perspectives throughout this change would be illustrated by symbolised objects.

PLAN AND FIRST IDEAS:
My breakdown of some assets that would be borrowed and used in my environment:
Trees, flowers, plants (both bloom and wither)
Train/ subway/ plane (station, airport)
Chair (in the middle of nowhere)
Grass, field (with and without flowers), mountains, hills
Bubbles, fog, clouds (distinct between environments)
Lakes, gardens, butterflies (around hills, plants…)
Rooms filled with pieces of stuff (symbolising loneliness)
Gates, bridges, pathways (old and new)
City blocks (buildings, schools)
Hot air balloons
I could create the terrain with mountains, hills and pathways to move around two different areas. The last environment is going to be built with lots of high hills filled with flowers (borrowed texture) which surround the whole area to create the ending point.
My intentional emotions are dreaminess, loneliness and happiness. Sounds in the first environment would be station/airport ambience and sorrowful background music. As moving further, the music gets happier and creates a climax at the very end when finally stepping into a whole new world.
I built a primitive map based on the initial ideas and intended transformation. The path could be in the middle of hills and mountains to lead the way. The field turns green and blooms from being withered. Fogs or clouds are the barriers to stepping into a second environment with a city background with buildings and probably a school to demonstrate my study.

My particular brainstorm after generating some ideas combined with the specific map. I tried another plan to see if it could work more effectively with this environment but still maintain the feelings and transformation.
Instead of starting right in the field or natural scene, I let the game start with a station/airport scene and a player should go through that train (transportation) and feel something before engaging in the next symbolised environment. The blooming flowers are still kept and may appear diversely after navigating the desert scene. Big objects like hot air balloons in the pink sky would be the potential ending point.
