Week 7 Session 2
My first greybox prototype has the starting point at a huge gate to lead players to go through the world inside then. It has two distinct areas.

I didn’t do anything with the skybox so it’s still difficult to find a hint around except this big way. I’m going to drag the grass texture to the gate to create an old and withered environment. Going inside will see the desert covered with woods and dried trees. Even the change that I want to mention is moving to a different environment but it also demonstrates the feelings that happened during that transformation. So, the desert represents for mental world, which is covered with anxiety and emptiness.

There is one more gate to let players go on their path before joining the next environment. I’d like to use the terrain tool to build more mountains in the desert. After going through the second gate, players should look around and find many big buildings in front of them to go ahead and discover more about that new area.

The city area has lots of buildings symbolised the city of Melbourne, my move, is to visit around as long as they feel enough. It may look like a maze.

Still, this hasn’t been my desired environment. I’m going to remake it in the next prototype attempt.
