Week 1 - Session 1

30 MINUTES INTO THIS ROOM AND COMPLETELY GOT MESMERIZED

The digital artwork SPECULUM by SMACK at the National Gallery Victoria.

It's the mysterious black room filled with melodious sound and vibrant digital artwork that attracted me from the first sight to the second I left the room.

I've been there three times as I truly desire to experience every single movement of each detail indicating. I entirely let my senses imbued with deep feelings.

There are colours. There is music. There is lively motion in those magical art frames. Those are the ways art lives in my inner self. They impressively, strongly and also peacefully, naturally stepped into me, and gradually took away my soul.

Sitting on the bench in the middle of the room covered by astounding art, I set my heart on figuring out the stories beyond every gesture and the characteristics behind every feature. I wonder how to create this mind-boggling masterpiece and how much emotion the artists have experienced. I aspire to be a note of emotion during their crafting process.

I desire to conceive how painful, how hopeful and ecstatic they feel throughout their powerful project. I also love to observe the way people bring their breath closer to the art. Standing in front of art, I believe every soul would flutter somehow. I love how people spend time remaining silent and engaging in those moving artworks.

I strongly believe art always positions in our inner side even in a modest spot. It only awaits the appropriate time to seize your whole mind with a feeling of great happiness and astonishment.

I love to be a part of the art room

and I love art to be a part of me.

I have been in the psychedelic space with all of my senses.

Art lives in humans in totally different ways and forms,

and there is me, who is always curious to take a deeper look at it.
