Week 11 - Session 2
I decided on the colour theme for my webpage based on the assignment's artwork. I recognised I used green and yellow the most so I followed this palette to maintain cohesion for my webpage. Thanks to the specific wireframes, I made the design of my website much easier.
At first, I used to keep the elements in a huge size because I thought it was a strongly impressive way to display the content. However during preview, I realised it would be out of the screen and users couldn’t see the whole element, so I resized everything.
First version
The capital menu also didn’t work and stood out even more than the webpage name so I kept it lowercase. I drew more attention to each title of the assignments in the works list by considering typography. I used two different fonts and maintained the same font for the letter 'i' as it was used the most in the amount.
The word search puzzles were also cropped vertically to fit the desktop screen and its appearance became more reasonable. The big question marks were resized and relocated to be near the puzzles and they stood for the introduction section 'About me' better.
A bit change
