My chosen concept: Community

Mind map 

A platform I tend to use to organize my graphic icons is Google Chrome. It can be opened on laptops, desktops or smartphones.

The principal objective of this concept is to demonstrate the suite of figures within a community to represent its existence. Those figures are symbolized by human illustrations and the corresponding places or jobs. All nine icons are responsible for helping the users approach the characteristics and features of the area and its people.

For that reason, these icons would be organized on a local website or a city website. They are appropriate to be navigational elements, specifically are mega menu which belongs to the menu of 'City Discover' or 'Get to Know the Community'.

The target audience is new people who first come to the local area, especially international students arriving in the new city and desire to understand the lifestyle and the surroundings. Each icon could represent each aspect of the local that people when clicking on will lead to another page with more information and guidance on that topic. So there are 9 different main figures to let people get to know more about how this community works and is connected.

These navigation elements improve the user experience by making it easier for visitors to recognize and find the information they are looking for, finally fulfilling the users' expectations.
